Journal

We won’t add anything to what has already been said about the importance of journaling. We consider that to keep a journal is a foundation habit in crafting your best life.

Many people find keeping a journal quite difficult. To sit down with a blank page in front of you can be daunting, and with too many thoughts in your head to readily identify the ones to set down, it feels stilted and awkward.

We have put together some questions to ask yourself in your journal. Some are appropriate to ask daily, others you may wish to come back to periodically. To get started just choose a couple and see where it takes you. Once you’ve answered a question that you have selected, keep writing about the subject until you can’t think of anything else to say.

We hope that these help.

Morning questions:

What is the most important thing you need to do today?

What quality do you want people to see in you today?

What do you need to talk about with someone today?

Who do you need to speak to today?

What event has had a big impact on you recently?

How can you make an extra 20 minutes for yourself today?

What are you planning to do for someone else today?

Are you in the right mood to do what you need to do today?

What have you been putting off recently?

What can you do today that will move you towards your target for the year?

What are you going to most invest your time in today?

What would you like to be doing today if you had the choice?
